The Queen Elizabeth was started on October 21, 1912, launched on October 16, 1913, and completed at Portsmouth Shipyard in January 1915. The cost is about 2.4 million pounds. Modernized from 1926 to 1927. The second large-scale modernization was carried out in August 1937-October. On December 19, 1941, he was bombed in Alexandria , Egypt . After salvaging and repairing, he joined the British Far East Fleet in 1943 to fight against Japan. Finally retired in August 1946 and sold for disintegration in 1948.
